One daily ascent.
A little stronger every day.
Elrond Tower is an independent fantasy browser game built around MultiversX. Fight the Sentinel, train your character and help the community defeat a shared enemy. Try the practice realm without a wallet.
Ascent is the game
Read the Sentinel’s intent and choose your counter within 12 seconds. Parry its slash, dodge its heavy crush, and attack to interrupt a core pulse. A fight lasts up to twenty exchanges. At half health the Sentinel becomes stronger.
Victory earns one floor. Win with at least 80% health and 85% correct counters to earn two. Faster correct responses earn more ELROND. You may retry before accepting a score, then save one ascent per day. Sessions reset at midnight UTC.
Two automatic training sessions
Enter the sanctuary and watch your character train. There are no buttons to time and no battle to win. The server chooses one of ten tiers and saves your XP automatically. Training needs no wallet transaction. Higher tiers have increasingly rare rewards and more spectacular celebrations.
| Tier | Revelation | XP | Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | First Spark | 5 | 22% |
| 2 | Steady Blade | 8 | 20% |
| 3 | Jade Focus | 12 | 17% |
| 4 | Azure Flow | 18 | 14% |
| 5 | Amethyst Resolve | 26 | 10% |
| 6 | Crimson Awakening | 38 | 7% |
| 7 | Starlit Mastery | 55 | 5% |
| 8 | Celestial Champion | 80 | 3% |
| 9 | Mythic Radiance | 120 | 1.5% |
| 10 | Golden Ascension | 200 | 0.5% |
Rewards are non-transferable game experience. There is no paid entry, purchase that improves your odds, token prize or cash payout.
Level and floor are different
Your floor measures how far you have climbed. Your level measures your experience. The XP needed for the next level increases along a gradually steepening curve. There is no fixed character level cap. Your character card shows the exact current requirement. Existing levels and progress were preserved when this curve was introduced. Training grants XP without changing your floor or ELROND. A saved ascent also earns 40 XP.
Every fifth level holds a reward
Registered players earn one Tower Chest at levels 5, 10, 15, 20 and every fifth level after that. Already passed milestones count: a level 15 player receives three chests. Find them in your Armory or under Level rewards in your inbox. Each chest opens with Tower chest odds, costs no MEX or wallet transaction, and stays saved until opened.
Chapter bosses and hunting
Every chapter victory earns XP: 30 for Chapter I, 60 for Chapter II, and 90 for Chapter III. Your first defeat of each chapter boss also earns one equipment chest and a hunter lore page. Earlier completions count too. Find unopened chapter chests in Explore. Replays award XP without repeating that first-clear chest. Random enemy drops are separate.
Open Hunting Grounds from Explore, then choose wolves or Dusk Bats. Wolf trails include Ashwood Wolves, Runebound Wolves and Vespermaw. Bats yield Dusk Venom, and all defeated beasts count toward hunter badges. In Venom Alchemy, combine 20 Dusk Venom into Nightbane Distillate for twice the poison damage and guaranteed poisoning on landed weapon attacks. Combine 100 base flasks into Sovereign’s Bane. Its secret waits to be discovered.
Hunter’s Caches
Every saved wolf, Runebound Wolf or bat victory adds one kill toward a Hunter’s Cache, at any hunting level. Up to five caches can be earned each week. Each contains one Tower Chest, saved automatically in your Armory.
The successive costs are 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1,600 kills: 3,100 kills earns all five. After each cache, its cost is deducted from your saved progress. Every remaining kill carries forward, including kills earned after your fifth cache. Monday at 00:00 UTC refreshes the five reward tiers without removing saved progress or unopened chests.
A chest can be found in battle
Each defeated PvE enemy has a 0.3% chance to drop a Tower Chest and a separate 0.1% outcome for a Legendary Chest. One roll decides the result, so a defeat can drop at most one random chest. These drops have no weekly limit and are independent of Hunter’s Caches and first-clear rewards. Hunting depth changes normal loot quantities, not chest chances.
Only saved enemy defeats count. Arena, training, retreats and unfinished encounters do not roll for these chests. A saved Ascent with a defeated guard rolls once when you accept and confirm that day’s score; retries and individual guard phases do not create extra rolls. All earned chests stay in your Armory until you open them.
Hatch when you have the Shells
A Woodland Egg costs 60 Shells and a Celestial Egg costs 300. Earned, verified Shells can be spent immediately, with no daily hatching allowance or 14-day wait. Your first hatch on the updated collection preserves your existing companions, names and equipped slots. An earlier wallet approval must finish or expire before the collection can switch safely.
Arena rewards arrive weekly
Complete at least five qualifying ranked bouts during a week to earn its league reward. Weekly rewards settle after Monday at 00:00 UTC; Silver and higher include a Tower Chest. Seasonal rewards are additional. Spend Arena Marks in the shop on Shells, runes, chests and cosmetics. One Woodland Egg is available for 75 Marks each week and hatches in the Bestiary without an additional Shell cost.
Where do HP, attack and defense matter?
They apply in your daily fight against the Sentinel. HP is how much damage you can survive. Attack increases the damage you deal. Defense reduces incoming damage. Reaching zero HP ends the fight. Training raises your level, which improves all three combat stats.
Community Defender
Saved daily fights contribute 20, 100 or 150 damage to the weekly Sentinel for participation, victory or exceptional victory. If you contributed before the community defeats it, you earn one Defender level. Rank titles improve at 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 victories.
Do I need a wallet or EGLD?
Practice is wallet-free with separate demo progress. Connect a MultiversX wallet to choose a permanent handle and use your wallet profile. Login and automatic training cost no gas. Ascents and Ideas actions require individual wallet approval: Devnet uses test EGLD; Mainnet uses real EGLD for network gas. Always check the network shown before signing.
Is ELROND a token?
No. ELROND is game reputation. It cannot be bought, sold, transferred or withdrawn. The game has no financial reward promise and is not an official MultiversX product.
